Read MoreCool piece on Good.is about a design project from Elaine Tong at the University of Toronto's Responsive Architecture at Daniels (RAD) School. Called Filtration Block, it's a modular natural air filtration system. The various plants have the ability to remove toxins from the air and require little in the way of maintenance. It's a functional terrarium. Not sure about production or logistics for this, but it's showing some clever thinking.
